DESCRIPTION:\nThe workshop presentations should be given IN PERSON\, and i
n some specific cases ON ZOOM if the in-person participation is not possib
le.\nThis event is a part of the CFNS workshop / ad-hoc meeting series. Se
e the CFNS CONFERENCES AND WORKSHOPS webpage for other events.\nNote: The
remote Zoom link is only visible to the registered participants. After re
gistration\, the Zoom link will appear on the menu bar.\nDescription:  Th
e extraction of the size and structure of hadrons/nuclei is an important a
nd exciting research branch of modern nuclear\, particle and atomic physic
 s. In particular\, the "proton charge radius puzzle" was born about 15 yea
rs ago\, when measurements of this radius based on the results obtained fr
om three types of experiments differed by more than five standard deviatio
ns. Two years ago\, Nuclear Radius Extraction Collaboration (NREC) was fou
nded\, having one of the goals to help resolve this discrepancy and assist
in developing the entire field. As such\, NREC being an experimental-theo
retical alliance may have an indispensable role in the future\, related to
the developments in phenomenology\, theory\, and experiment.    One of
the other NREC's goals is to provide a platform for information exchange t
o find synergies between various groups\, which carry out studies and extr
actions of nucleon form factors\, radii and related quantities. Our focus
also goes to a wider field including weak/strong/gravitational form factor
s\, other radii of particles beyond the nucleon\, including conventional/n
 on-conventional mesons\, baryons\, light and heavy nuclei\, etc..\nObjecti
ves:  The proposed workshop will assess the current status and prospects
in studies of some of the key topics related to hadronic and nuclear size/
structure\, which has only been partially covered during the first inaugur
al NREC workshop held at CFNS in May of 2024 in cooperation with PREN and
μASTI: NREC first workshop. In addition\, we will also focus on  a) pro
motion of physics simulations and phenomenological/theoretical calculation
s in a broad effort\;  b) promotion and completion of the NREC White Pape
r.\nTopics to be discussed:  Some of the research areas to be covered by
NREC are highly relevant in the context of the Electron-Ion Collider. To f
acilitate discussions incorporating the EIC physics and broader physics co
vered by NREC\, the workshop will be multi-disciplinary. The primary topic
s to be covered are    (i) hadronic (and light nuclei) radii and form f
actors from lepton/neutrino scattering and electronic-/muonic-hydrogen spe
ctroscopy\;    (ii) the associated radiative corrections for scattering
and spectroscopy\;  (iii) nuclear radii and neutron skin from lepton sc
attering experiments as well as from collinear laser spectroscopy\;   (i
 v) current and upcoming lepton/neutrino scattering experiments.\n \nThis
workshop is hosted at and supported by\n\n\nhttps://indico.cfnssbu.physics
