DESCRIPTION:Speakers: Joonsuk Bae (Sungkyunkwan University)\n\nJet physics
is entering a precision era in which progress increasingly depends on our
ability to control soft-QCD effects and experimental biases. In this semi
nar\, I will present the first inclusive charged-particle jet measurement
from ALICE Run 3: the R dependence of jet cross sections in pp collisions
at $\\sqrt{s}=13.6$ TeV. This measurement provides a sensitive probe of no
n-perturbative QCD dynamics and reveals differences of up to 30% among mod
ern event generators in the low transverse momentum\, large-radius regime.
I will place this result in the broader context of the Run 3 heavy-ion and
small-system jet program\, including ongoing studies of jet quenching in
small systems\, jet substructure\, and medium response measurements in O+O
and Pb+Pb collisions. In particular\, I will discuss ongoing work on the
ALICE O+O charged-particle jet RAA measurement\, which extends hadron supp
ression measurements into the jet sector. Finally\, I will briefly discuss
how AI and machine-learning approaches may help address future challenges
  in jet physics.-----\nZoom: https://bnl.zoomgov.com/j/1604670623?pwd=X7OF
