This five-day workshop will bring together theorists and experimentalists to discuss precision QCD physics at the Electron-Ion Collider and the scientific opportunities offered by a potential second interaction region. The program will address higher-order QCD and electroweak corrections, precision determinations of parton distribution and fragmentation functions, jet and semi-inclusive processes, transverse-momentum-dependent phenomena, small-\(x\) dynamics, and novel observables sensitive to the multidimensional structure of the proton and nuclei.
A central focus will be the high-energy physics potential of a dedicated second detector, including its complementarity with ePIC, opportunities enabled by specialized particle-identification and muon-detection capabilities, and possible connections to physics beyond the Standard Model. Extended presentations and ample discussion time will encourage the identification of key theoretical calculations, experimental requirements, and new collaborations needed to fully exploit the EIC. Early-career researchers and scientists from communities adjacent to the EIC are especially encouraged to participate.
