Important Information

Important Information for the Participants

1) Timetable of the workshop will be updated later, however, the pdf file (in Overview section) already shows the preliminary agenda of the workshop.

2) As the number of registered in-person attendees is well below 50, we plan to have the workshop in the rooms of CFNS and no registration fee will be required.

3) For the five days of the workshop, there may be up to 55-60 regular talks and up to 4 overview talks, both in person and online via ZOOM. Participants who wish to give presentations in person are encouraged to register at their earliest opportunity because in that case they will receive a full consideration in the process of talks' selection by the organizing committee. The rest of the in-person talks will be selected depending on availability of the number of free slots.

4) If the number of envisaged in-person talks exceeds the limit that the workshop is able to contain, then we may also ask some of the participants to combine their talks with others who they work closely with. In this case, a given talk will be presented by one person but the presentation's title page may of course has more than one author.

5)  We encourage to register within a two-week period (starting from January 15) because it may help us obtain some hotel-related discounts for the participants as early as possible and make sure we can reserve an appropriate venue.

6) We updated the lodging page with instructions to book via the reserved block.

7) For obtaining an invitation for the US visa, please contact  Socorro Delquaglio  at  socorro.delquaglio@stonybrook.edu
